The Band Founders

John Magnie sporting his flowing white hair and goatee stands next to black beret Steve Amedee posing with the Subdudes. The band was signed with Columbia Records for many years. After a brief stint as semi-retired musicians in Fort Collins, the duo would se go on to start a side project called The Grocery Story Band and that project grew and grew into an 8 piece show band with a booking agent and an eclectic mix of originals and cover songs.

Acoustic Rock

Blues-rock, soul, gospel, hard and soft rock, singer-songwriter stuff and soulful acoustic performances. It's a musical experience to come to one of the Grocery Story Band's shows!

Big Band Jam

Dynamic jams filled with vibrant energy. John plays keys, but sometimes accordion and he sings pretty good too! There's bass man Marty Rein holding everyone and everything together.
